I am very pleased to present an exhibition of works at the landmark Heller Gallery in NYC.
The exhibition demonstrates the recent evolution of the inflatables series. These objects are the descendants of a series of process based experiments aimed at reshaping the family of forms available in glass by reshaping the glassworking process. These experiments have always been a partnership between myself and the material, with the artist directed by a synergy of material behavior and physical response to arrive at an unfamiliar destination. While still a memento of process, the objects of this exhibition trace a path to a more deterministic and masterful expression of the technique, featuring more a family of colorful iridescent and sophisticated forms.
