Ropework

Ropework pieces are created by winding pulled glass fiber into thin, flexible ropes using a 19th-century machine. These ropes are then knotted in complex patterns that borrow from the traditions of sailors and traditional fiber crafts before being fired into a single delicate piece of glass.
